Semikron Diode Bridge, rectifies AC current and converts to DC current. The diode bridge is derived from the combination of four normal rectifier diodes. In fact, a semikron diode can be manually constructed with four diodes, which is no different from the diode bridge in terms of application and operation. What is a diode bridge or rectifier?
A diode bridge (rectifier) is a component that is obtained by combining 4 ordinary diodes and its main function is to rectify alternating current. A diode bridge can be made manually with four diodes, which is no different from a ready-made diode bridge in terms of application and function, and a bridge can take AC electricity and convert it to DC electricity. Diode bridges can be used alongside autotransformers in such a way that they are connected in parallel at the output of the autotransformer and when the input voltage changes, DC electricity is received at the output.
Type of diode bridge
Diode bridges come in models with different powers and voltages. Each diode bridge has different features and specifications. Advanced and new diode bridges have more capabilities, so they may have a slight price difference with older models.
